Hospitals and clinics

Refer patients to Rehabify from your EHR, a referral link, a discharge-sheet QR code or the Partner Portal, and keep the referring doctor informed.

Hospitals and clinics without in-house physiotherapy, or with more demand than they can meet, can refer patients to Rehabify's network of MRTBN-licensed physiotherapists. They can then follow each patient's progress back to discharge.

Choose how to refer

OptionEngineering workBest for
Partner PortalNoneOccasional referrals entered by clinic staff
Referral link and QR codeNoneDischarge sheets, consulting rooms and waiting areas: patients refer themselves
API from your EHRSomeHigh volumes, and referrals created automatically from your clinical workflow

All three create the same kind of referral. Each one appears in your dashboard and the API, and fires your webhooks.

Option 1: Partner Portal

Staff sign in at https://partners.physioaroundme.com and create the referral there. Make sure the patient has agreed to be contacted by Rehabify first.

Create a referral link, for example one per department, and print its URL as a QR code on discharge sheets and posters:

https://physioaroundme.com/r/<public_code>

Patients scan the code, give consent and submit a short form. Each referral is attributed to your organisation for 30 days, and permanently once the patient signs up or books. Link stats show how many patients each department sends.

Option 3: API from your EHR

Create the referral when the doctor orders physiotherapy. Include the clinical context in clinical.notes. It's write-only: Rehabify's clinicians see it, but the API and webhooks never return it.

Print or text links.whatsapp_intake_url for the patient so they can start with Joy before they leave the clinic.

Keep the referring doctor informed

  • Webhooks tell your EHR when the patient is contacted, booked, in treatment and discharged. See the event catalog.
  • Progress reports show sessions attended and milestones. On referral.completed, download the PDF and file it in the patient record:
curl https://api.physioaroundme.com/v1/partners/reports/CLINIC-ORTHO-000781/pdf \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $REHABIFY_API_KEY" \
  -o CLINIC-ORTHO-000781-progress.pdf
  • The public tracking page (links.tracking_url) shows the status timeline only, so patients and their families can follow progress without seeing personal or clinical data.

Reports never include clinical notes. They summarise attendance and milestones. See Progress reports.

Commissions

Patients you refer by API, referral link or WhatsApp referral code are attributed to your organisation. Your organisation earns commission on their verified paid bookings, under your commercial terms. See Commercial terms & commissions.
